So much has happened since my last post on January 10, 2025 rightly titled ‘The Promise’.
And all that has happened, is exactly as planned by God to purposefully fit me into His plan for His Kingdom here on earth.
Here is a timeline of events of His plan for me.
07 January, 2025: Successful application for enrolment in the 4-year combined Bachelor of Theology/Bachelor of Ministry degree commencing semester one 2025 at Ridley College.
03 February, 2025: Commenced Hebrew A Intensive on campus (I was honestly excited to begin learning the language that was spoken by Jesus Christ).
14 February, 2025: Commenced Semester 1, 2025, with units Old Testament Foundations, Early Church History, Introduction to Biblical Theology and Interpretation, Guided Spiritual Formation (Relation to Self).
1 March, 2025: Rachel and I invited as aspirants to Vocations Day at the Year of Discernment 2025, conducted by the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
18 June, 2025: Successfully completed Semester 1.
14 July, 2025: Commenced Semester 2, 2025, with units Old Testament Prophets & Writings, New Testament Overview, Gospel & Gospel Ministry.
1 September, 2025: Submitted Personal Ministry Statement which feels like a milestone on my journey of service to God’s people.
So, I have been studying and understanding the Scriptures at Ridley College since 3 February and I remembered my post about the simple but wonderful promise from Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. ~ Matthew 18:20 KJV
I gather every week on campus with fellow students and faculty to participate in a common vision: The intentional development of Christ-like character, prayerful dependence on God, and the integration of life, doctrine and ministry practice. I feel blessed to be surrounded by God’s people with a similar mindset and mission.
I feel strongly called to a minstry of pastoral service where I will be ready to help grow and complete the body of Christ with my spiritual experiences and gifts.
No one’s call is static. It is a lifetime experience, always subject to revision as we are challenged anew by the Spirit of the One who called us first, when our Christian life began.
